We are beyond stoked to share the highlights from our epic store opening at 81 Maitland Rd, Islington! This event was more than just the launch of a new location; it was a celebration of the surf culture and community that makes Newcastle such a special place.
The night was made unforgettable thanks to the incredible support from our friends at Billabong, JS Surfboards, Mark Richards Surfboards, Ocean & Earth, and Modus Brewing. Your generosity and enthusiasm helped us create an event that truly captured what makes surfing so special.
We were especially honored to have surf legends Joel Parkinson, Mark Occhilupo, Ryan Callinan, Jason Stevenson, and Mark Richards in attendance. These icons have not only shaped the world of surfing but also continue to inspire the next generation of surfers right here in Newcastle.
The turnout from the Newcastle surf community was phenomenal. Your energy and passion for the sport were felt throughout the night, making it one to remember. Whether you were sharing stories, checking out the latest gear, or just enjoying a cold brew from Modus, your presence made the event truly special.
As we settle into our new home in Islington, we’re excited to continue serving the Newcastle surf community. Our new store is more than just a place to pick up gear; it’s a hub for surfers of all levels to connect, learn, and share their love of the ocean. We can’t wait to welcome you all through our doors.
