MR will be in store for a Q&A about his latest model, there will be lucky door prizes, Modus beers flowing, and some bargains in store on our sale racks. Learn to Surf Newcastle will also be in the house so your kids can sign up for their upcoming Surf Groms season and they might just one day follow in MR’s footsteps for a Novocastrian World Title, or 4.
The Mid-Length Swallow Tail Twin + 1 has been in development for over 18 months and several of our staff members have been lucky enough to try a few out in that time. To put it simply, we are really, really, f#*$ing excited! It’s got all the paddle power and glide you expect from a Mid and is a board you can ride in anything from ankle high waves to well overhead. The big difference we have found from other Mid-Lengths is the response and control when you get back on the tail and over the fins. As you will see on Friday night from the footage of Zane riding one, this is a board isn’t just a glorified mini-mal and will allow you to throw down some seriously big turns
